Former Flying Eagles striker, Taiwo Awoniyi has quit bachelorhood as he exchanged marital vows with his partner, Taiwo Jesudun in a white wedding ceremony over the weekend.
The wedding was held at the God’s Grace Foundation Church, in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital on Saturday. The couple had their engagement and traditional wedding in Kabba on Friday.
The wedding was graced by some of Awoniyi’s ex-teammates; including Chidera Ezeh, Godwin Saviour and a host of other former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles teammates.
Awoniyi, who is on the books of Liverpool, played for Royal Excel Mouscron in the Belgian Juliper League last season.
He scored 10 goals with seven assists in 31 games.The footballer who was once dubbed the next Rashidi Yekini will be 21 in August.
