Delta State Police arrested staff at Nana Elementary School who allegedly stole eight (8) of the fifteen (15) Zinox computers provided to the school by the Delta State Government.
In a statement released by DSP Bright Edafe, a spokesperson for state police headquarters, school officials announced on March 2 that the computers had been stolen.
After receiving this report, he said, the ‘A’ Warri Data Protection Unit listed the police detectives who took action. After a thorough investigation, detectives arrested the prime suspect named Oki Precious “m,” 34 years old.
An investigation later revealed that the suspect is a computer operator who works at the school and is an employee of the school’s PTA.
The suspect took the police to his home, where seven (7) computers were recovered. The case was taken to court.
