Former President Goodluck Jonathan is said to have joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

According to a report by Nigeria’sNigeria’s news agency, NAN the president once received a party membership card in his ward of Otueke, Bayelsa State.

“A reliable source in Jonathan’sJonathan’s camp ”said the former president had registered with the APC in his ward of Otuoke, Bayelsa State,” the report said.

The source also said that Jonathan plans to submit an Almajiri presidential nomination form to him today, Thursday, May 12.

“Many senior party members are also calling on Jonathan to reaffirm their loyalty and support for the president. At least three senior African leaders have already spoken out on the matter. They all need to hurry.

One of them specifically told him that he did not understand how to travel all over Africa to resolve disputes only to avoid leadership responsibility in his home country.

Another reminded him of the meaning of not capitalizing on his experiences as a former Nigerian president and international politician.

The previous phase, however, still had to be reported regularly in the event of damage.
