Nigerian Afro-beat singer David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, has come under fire after an old tweet about female Nollywood stars resurfaced online.

In the 2011 post shared on the microblogging platform Twitter, Davido opined that Nollywood is just a way for female stars to advertise their bodies to rich men.

According to Davido, female Nollywood stars make more money from sex than from acting.
