Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Pinnick will not run for a third term when his current term ends in September.
This comes after pressure from many who called for Pinnick to resign after Nigeria failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup.
However, Mr Pinnick announced his third term on Friday April 8 to fight for the top spot in the NFF and acknowledged that his involvement in football management has influenced his family over the years.
Speaking to TV Arise, he said: “It has always been a game full of Nigerian football.
“Do I want to run? No, no. My family is very important to me. They say it costs me and his family money.
