Nigerian afro-beat singer David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, has unfollowed fellow Wizkid after failing to celebrate his recent success with the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

We previously reported that Davido made history and made Nigerians proud when he sang along with Trinidad Cardona and AISHA on the 2022 World Cup soundtrack titled “Hayya Hayya” (Best Together).

Speaking on the microblogging platform Twitter, Davido said he was honored with the achievement, adding that it was a victory for Africa.

Many fans and music lovers take to social media platforms to cheer and praising Davido for making Nigerians proud.

However, his peers like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, and others have not congratulated him or posted on social media to celebrate his achievement.

Meanwhile, a check on Davido’s Instagram page shows that he is no longer following Wizkid on the Instagram app for sharing photos and videos.

This comes a few days after Davido re-followed Wizkid after many years of trouble.

Kemi Filani News recalls that cheers were widespread when Wizkid and Davido crushed their flesh for a second time at a Lagos nightclub on Friday night, January 21, 2022.

Davido and Wizkid, who had long been at odds for unknown reasons many believed stemmed from fans criticizing Wizkid’s win over Davido, the duo decided to settle their differences.

The reconciliation drew mixed reactions online, with some fans expressing their excitement while others pointed out how they hugged, showing they had long been lusting after each other.
