Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria will host the 2021/22 TotalEnergies Confederation Cup Final, the Confederation of African Football, CAF.

The event is the culmination of the first international bird competition to be held at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, home to the Nigerian Premier League team Akwa United.

In a statement on Thursday morning, May 11, CAF said the deadline was set for Friday, May 20, 2022, while CAF also said they would confirm the start time in due course.

Four teams are in contention to win the 2021/22 TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup. In the first leg of the semi-final, DR Congo’s TP Mazembe scored a goal earlier to score a goal against Morocco’s RS Berkane.

In 2021, the TotalEnergies Confederation Cup was held in Cotonou, Benin, where Morocco’s Raja Club Athletic defeated Algeria’s JS Kabylie by two goals to -1.
